Underground Service Crew Worker

Job Location: Kalgoorlie

Role Overview

Our network of regional workshops support our clients to maximise the efficiency, productivity and safety of their operations.

The success of our operations is founded on a team based approach to projects and you will have the opportunity to work together with, and support a range of qualified tradespeople to be successful on all projects.

Responsibilities

You will be a part of a small dynamic crew that undertakes the installation, removal & repair of underground mine infrastructure including pumping systems, ventilation fans, pipework, escapeway ladders, ventilation doors and minor civil works.

You will also drive the maintenance of a safe and healthy workplace and ensure that all work is in accordance with industry best practice.

Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience in an engineering or mining environment
  • Mechanical trade assistant experience
  • A level of proficiency in a range of maintenance activities
  • Ability to work autonomously or as part of a team
  • Able to pass Medical and Drug & Alcohol tests
  • Ability to work in remote locations
  • Current WA drivers’ license. A HR License would be advantageous, although not essentiaL
