Responsibilities

As a Layout Designer you will play a key role in the development of complete plant layouts from flowsheets.

This role will suit a candidate with proven work experience as a layout designer or similar role with good knowledge in all disciplines including non-process infrastructure (including mineral processing plants). In depth knowledge and understanding of Australian Standards, revision and document control will also be an asset.

Key responsibilities include:

Developing complete plant layouts from flowsheets with a good knowledge in all disciplines
The practical application of your understanding of non-process infrastructure requirements
Adherence to all CPC Engineering and CPC Project Design policies, systems, procedures and quality management requirements

Skills and Experience

Industry related Engineering Diploma
Significant plant layout experience
Proven work experience as a Layout Designer or similar role
Strong computer literacy skills within a Microsoft office environment
Hands-on experience with computer-aided design (CAD) software
Ability to liaise with engineers to gather requirements and designs
Innate attention to detail, excellent grammar, spelling and punctuation and formal technical report writing skills
Willingness to travel to regional and remotes sites as and when required
